Ying has been instrumental in expanding the firm's Client Advisory Services practice, developing and implementing the firm’s outsourcing strategy, establishing key partnerships, refining processes, and leading team integration and training efforts, which have significantly enhanced our market agility and competitiveness. Ying's leadership approach is grounded in empathy, continuous learning, empowerment, and recognition, driving both personal and team success.

Ying graduated from Kalani High School and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Finance, and International Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She went on to earn a Master of Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Hawaii, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Ying joined N&K in in 2005 as an Associate and became the firm's first female Principal in 2018.

Ying’s community and industry involvements include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, CPAmerica, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
