John Paul Bautista

John Paul is a passionate driver of the firm's fun and inviting culture and is responsible for leading initiatives related to the firm’s mission, vision, and core values through the firm's Work Environment Committee. Inspired by his parents to become a Principal, he has a strong dedication to hard work, teamwork, and education. John Paul is guided by the belief that obstacles are opportunities for resilience and improvement, which informs how he serves his team and clients. He is committed to the development of team members and creating a collaborative environment for our people’s success and growth.

John Paul graduated from McKinley High School and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa before becoming a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Hawaii. He joined N&K in 2004 as an Associate and became a Principal in 2021.



His community and industry involvements include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, CPAmerica, and the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
