Chad Funasaki

Audit Principal, CPA, CGMA

Chad’s leadership approach is rooted in guiding, developing, and challenging team members with patience and empathy. In addition to being a Principal in the audit division, Chad has been assisting in expanding the firm's Client Advisory Services practice.

Chad graduated from Pearl City High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa before becoming a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Hawaii and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Chad joined N&K in 1995 as an Associate and became a Principal in 2014.



His community and industry involvements include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, and CPAmerica.
